Serene Sunrooms

Ask us what we would build behind our own homes and this is usually the answer. The 3-season-plus acrylic sunroom is our signature for a reason: it captures most of what people love about a glass room and most of what they need from an insulated one, at a price between the two.

What makes acrylic different

Acrylic roof panels transmit light almost like glass — your room still glows — but they insulate dramatically better and weigh a fraction as much. Less weight means lighter framing and foundations; better insulation means the room holds warmth on cold shoulder-season days instead of dumping it through the roof. That is the whole trick, and it is a good one.

Why acrylic is the smart middle: light like glass, insulating like solid.

The “plus” in 3-season-plus

A standard 3-season room is comfortable roughly April to October. The acrylic build stretches that from early March into December in a typical GTA year — with a small heater carrying the coldest edges. You give up January and February; you keep ten months of bright, comfortable living and a budget far below 4-season construction.

Who chooses this build

Homeowners who looked at the 4-season price, looked at how they would actually use the room, and wanted the smartest ratio of comfort-months to dollars. It is also a favourite over existing decks, where acrylic’s low weight avoids expensive structural work.
