Serene Sunrooms (“Serene”, “we”, “us”) operates serenesunrooms.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Quote requests. When you submit a quote or contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number, the city or area of your property, your project type, and any notes you add. We use this to reply to you, prepare a quote, and follow up on your project.
- Live chat. If you use the chat widget, the messages you send and any contact details you share are stored by our chat provider (Chatway) so we can respond.
- Usage data. Like most websites we receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the referring page. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
Spam protection and advertising
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses browser and interaction data to tell people from bots. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
We run Google Ads and use the Google Ads conversion tag to measure whether an ad led to a quote request. This sets cookies in your browser. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings.
How we use and share information
We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, prepare and deliver your project, and improve this website. We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and our business (for example our website host, email provider, chat provider, and financing partner when you ask about financing), and only as needed for that purpose. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Retention and security
Quote requests are kept for as long as needed to serve your project and meet our record-keeping obligations. Form submissions are stored in our website system and in our email. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including HTTPS, to protect your information.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to further contact, by emailing hello@serenesunrooms.com or calling 647-643-2477. You can also control cookies in your browser settings.
